The Portland Inn Project CIC (PIPCIC) has been awarded a grant by the BIG Lottery Fund (BIG) to employ a Youth and Family Engagement Worker to develop and then offer (COVID Safe) open access youth and family sessions and to expand our reach to additional young people in our area by delivering an engaging and exciting programme of activity for the neighbourhood. Sessions will include a range of activities that inspire and develop young people and their families to positively engage in the programme and its development. Much of the delivery work will be carried out in the evenings / weekends and during school holidays. Whilst our team will offer support, you will be very self-organised, at times you will be working independently on site with our families and as such you will be able to manage project work independently.

Pay: £250 per week for 24 weeks.
Hours: 16 hrs per week to be agreed with PIPCIC Directors.
Contract: Fixed Term until April 2021.
Employment: The Youth and Family Engagement worker will be self-employed and as such will manage their own tax and national insurance contributions.
Notice Period: 1 Month
Conditions of Appointment: The appointment will be made based on satisfactory references and a DBS Check.
