As part of Dr Antoinette Burchill’s It Takes A Region To Raise An Artist research at CAMEo, she is carrying out a series of strategic interviews with individuals from visual arts organisations across the region.
She will undertake fifteen interviews, in urban and rural locations, gathering responses to questions about infrastructure, opportunities, barriers, connectivity, profile and perception. The data she collects will complement that gathered from the workforce survey in helping us to develop a detailed picture of the visual arts sector across the region, cataloguing the current provision and identifying the barriers that restrict organisations and individuals from realising their artistic and economic potential.
