Surface Gallery is pleased to announce Break Here, a solo exhibition by Ryan Boultbee.

Break Here is a single artwork installed in the toilet of Surface Gallery, which attempts to bridge the space between art and architecture. The purpose of this piece is to render the emotional function of a toilet’s environment (a private and intimate space) visible through the means of everyday graphic language.

Artist Talk
Friday 1st March, 7.30pm
During the opening night you will have the opportunity to meet the artist when we have a small get together in Le Loovre. Ryan will discuss the ideas behind the work.

Break Here opens in our alternative artspace, Le Loovre, in conjunction with Weekends and Everything In Between, a solo exhibition by Tom Quigley, in the Main Gallery. As always, there will be a donations bar with ales from local brewery, Pheasantry.
