About

Let’s get creative at home as a family with Saturday Art Club Online.

Join our Associate Artist Emma Lewis-Jones for a movement session where we’ll use graphite and paper to create our own life-size, Phoebe Boswell-scale drawings at home. The creative activity will be based on the idea of creating ‘family portraits’ or still lifes. Please provide your own materials for the workshop. Materials needed: Graphite, Roll of paper.

This week’s workshop is building on a previous Saturday Art Club Online session which engaged with choreography and encouraged each group to adopt poses as if they were in a still life, playing with stillness and motion. The session stimulated conversation around body language, facial expressions and how to convey meaning to an audience.

This week’s workshop is also part of three workshops that build on one another.
