About

Experience the secret histories of Nottingham caves through cutting edge immersive technologies. Using augmented and virtual reality techniques you will encounter the extraordinary hidden world beneath the city. We invite everyone to engage with the caves and to learn more about their care and preservation. By bringing the caves to life using augmented and virtual reality technology participants will experience their mysterious stories and a new appreciation for the heritage of the city that lies hidden beneath their feet.

This event is part of the Being Human festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.
