Art AI Festival: Beta-X Photogrammetry Competition

This summer, try something new with your mobile phone or camera!

Using photogrammetry techniques of your choice, we are calling for entries to a competition for digitally rendered reproductions of buildings and the streetscape of Church Gate, Leicester (the vicinity around the LE1 3AN postcode).

£500 First prize and smaller runner up prizes

Deadline midnight 30 August 2022

We’d love to see what you do with your image captures.  The website includes lots of links to tips and hints to get you started, whether or not you are a professional photographer.  This is something that almost anyone can have a go at doing but alongside that, you will also be contributing to an important new dataset about this historical area of Leicester, effectively helping to capture it as it stands today.  All the 3D image datasets entered into the competition will be made freely available as part of Leicester’s Heritage Action Zone project.
