We’re offering another 2 x residencies for early-mid career community-focused artists, creatives or collectives, based in our public studio space at the National Civil War Centre and Newark Museum, connected to the Palace Theatre, Newark.
As arts educators or participatory arts practitioners, you’ll work with visitors to co-create artworks that respond to and are inspired by our historical artefacts, collections, buildings and / or heritage sites. You’ll also offer creative projects or workshops with community groups at locations across the district of Newark & Sherwood.
We welcome applications from artists and creative practitioners from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds. Your practice might include for example, photography, graphic design, music, dance, writing, performance, illustration, textiles, print, drawing and more.
