Project Overview:
Our organisation seeks an experienced evaluator for a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) project focusing on the restoration of one of the few remaining EMS Synthi 100 synthesisers. The project involves a condition survey, establishing a steering committee, and launching a public engagement campaign that will lay the groundwork for a broader heritage initiative celebrating this pioneering electronic instrument.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an HLF-compliant evaluation framework.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis where necessary.
- Measure project outcomes, including restoration impact, community engagement, and technical progress.
- Report on project efficiency, effectiveness, and future sustainability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure evaluation addresses key project objectives.
- Production of a robust, actionable evaluation report for future planning and funding opportunities.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in evaluating heritage or restoration projects.
- Strong knowledge of HLF evaluation standards and principles.
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Strong communication skills for reporting to stakeholders and presenting findings.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of heritage and technical professionals.
