Studio Open Call

Modern Painters, New Decorators is looking for a creative to join our resident community. We are specifically looking for artists interested in the studio spaces currently available. Apply by visiting:

The available studios are:
* £160 per month
* 6.2m2
* Available from 1 March 2025
* Part of a small studio complex occupied by practicing professional artists
* On the ground floor with step-free access and an accessible toilet
* Includes utilities (heating, electricity & Wi-Fi)
* Not appropriate for creatives who create dust or use toxic or toxic-smelling materials
* Located on Aumberry Gap, opposite the Co-Operative Funeralcare in Loughborough

The minimum studio occupation period is 3 months, and a deposit equal to one month’s rent is required at the time of moving in.

Deadline: Monday 24 February, 11PM
Response: Thursday 27 February, 5PM

In 2024 Modern Painters, New Decorators moved to a new home on Aumberry Gap. We are currently expanding our offering, which includes eight on-site artist studios. We’re home to artists and creatives who work across a range of media, including paint, print, performance, sculpture and digital. Our spaces are secure, with shared facilities, and our resident artists have 24/7 access to the site.
