Curators Convening in Venice

Curators Convening in Venice

Do you live or work in the East Midlands or West Midlands and plan to attend the opening of the Venice Biennale 2026? Would you like to connect with fellow art professionals ahead of your trip?

Monday 20 April, 1-2pm
Online via Zoom, book here

Would you like to connect with fellow art professionals ahead of your trip?

Join us for an informal online conversation this April, bringing together East Midlands and West Midlands-based arts professionals (e.g., researcher, curator, producer) who will be attending this year’s Biennale. This is an opportunity to share insights, exchange information, and build connections before travelling.

Please note this is a discussion platform, not a funding opportunity.

Supported by CVAN EM & CVAN WM and facilitated by Alice Planel-Frederiks.

"My name is Alice Planel-Frederiks and I am a researcher and practitioner based in Nottingham. In 2024 I attended the opening with three Nottingham-based colleagues and I benefited hugely from their companionship and support. This initial conversation is an opportunity to consolidate experience and information ahead of Venice 2026, for our collective benefit and that of the EM and WM institutions we may represent."
