Nick Mobbs is an Artist and Lecturer based in Nottingham whose practice combines photography and printmaking. Over the last year pattern has become more important in his work, along with experiments in lenticular prints and animation.
Over the last year pattern has become more important in my work: I am layering it to disrupt and give depth to the imagery I am working with, and in places letting it just take over. Recently I have been experimenting with new (to me) processes – lenticular prints (where the image changes as the viewer moves) and some basic animation, where patterns change across a still image.
