Pottery Evening Class Tutor

LU Arts at Loughborough University is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and creative Pottery Tutor to lead its popular adult evening ceramics programme. The classes run in three 8-week blocks during the University autumn and spring terms and summer holidays. Classes take place every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6.30–9.00pm in the University's dedicated Ceramics Studio on the Loughborough campus. The same course content is delivered on both evenings, with participants choosing which day they attend. The classes are open to students, staff and members of the public (16+) and attract a wide range of abilities. Groups are limited to 12 participants, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where learners can develop their skills and confidence. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, practical pottery classes by designing a well-paced programme covering a range of techniques while supporting participants to complete individual projects over the duration of the course.
