About

This year our annual showcase Made in the East Midlands celebrates four regional ceramic artists. Following a six-month collaboration with NCCD and Design Factory, The Collectors present a new body of work specially commissioned for this exhibition.

Each featured maker is a collector in one way or another and this emotionally charged exhibition will let you explore an artists’ love of collecting and where it leads them. A fantasy dinner set, a coral garden, a nest of bones or an assemblage of ceramics vessels. What might you collect from this show?

Continuing NCCD’s goal to be a more inclusive venue for those with a visual impairment, this exhibition will include a selection of objects that visitors can handle.
