Celebrate the 2019 annual Pinhole Camera Day with our Associate Artist James Smith, collaborating to create 360° images of the countryside surrounding our stunning rural outreach venue.
As part of this workshop, you will learn how to construct your own black and white pinhole camera from everyday materials. Use this homemade camera to experiment, photographing a variety of natural settings within the forest and developing the images yourself in our on-site dark room.
You will then build on these skills, collaboratively creating a large-scale camera to capture the landscape in 360°.
A light vegetarian lunch will be provided. Please wear warm and waterproof clothing in case of inclement weather.
