About

Abstract Playground

Free workshops for kids
Saturday 26 January 2019
10 –– 4pm

We are working with our friend, and Lumen Prize shortlisted artist, Will Hurt to bring to LEVEL a day of free drop-in workshops which playfully explore the links between computers, coding and art.

Working with Will you can make your own automated drawing using a computer controlled plotter, or create your own gaming controller using a ‘Makey-Makey’.

Workshops are best suited for children aged 4 –– 12 (but really they are suitable for everyone!). Please can all adults be accompanied by a child.

On the day FREE PARKING is available opposite LEVEL and local buses from Matlock and Bakewell stop nearby on the A6. Contemporary art, it’s right on your door step in Rowsley… We don’t have a cafe but coffee will be available throughout the day!
