Evanescent
Adj. vanishing; fading away; fleeting.
Artists are being sought for Evanescent, a group show at All Hallows’ Church as part of the Lady Bay Arts Trail 2020. Evanescent, curated by Paul Liptrot, aims to bring together artists who respond to, or feature the ephemeral and transient in their practice, whether conceptually or more directly. The vision is to create a multi disciplinary space featuring work that speaks to the evanescent and offers the viewer chance to pause and reflect.
All Hallows’ Church is an exciting venue, allowing work to be seen within the context of a religious space, itself welcoming reflection in its myriad forms.
If you are interested in being part of this group show please send a 150 word summary of how your practice connects to the ideas of the evanescent. This summary should be accompanied by up to 5 images of your work (that you would like to show) and links to your website and social media.
