Chair & Trustees

We work across the East Midlands and beyond to exhibit, develop and elevate international, national and local contemporary art in the public realm.

Having recently achieved £1.56 million in partnership funding with Northampton Borough Council to deliver a new centre for contemporary art in Northampton’s Cultural Quarter, NN is at an exciting point in its history having undergone a significant process of evolution to become a leader in our sector.

To support us through this next phase of transition, we are now seeking a dynamic leader to become Chair of the Board as well as several new Trustees with skills in one or more of the following:

• Financial planning, management and control
• Artistic policy development and evaluation
• Charity governance best practice
• Outreach and participation
• Organisational change management
• Marketing, PR and communications
• Capital redevelopment
• Stakeholder advocacy
• Business development
• Charity law
• Public and private sector fundraising

We are particularly keen to receive applications from people from diverse backgrounds and from those with an interest in the visual arts who may never have served as Trustees before.
