The National Justice Museum is seeking an innovative visual artist to join our ACE funded ‘Creative Court UK’ project. The artist will design and create a ‘pop up courtroom’ concept that will be easily transportable and will be used to create an engaging participatory learning space in schools across Nottingham, Manchester and London.
Brief
‘To design an interactive ‘pop-up courtroom’ installation which acts as flexible and transportable learning environment to be used within schools nationally as part of the National Justice Museum’s educational outreach programme. The purpose of this installation is to create a contemporary interpretation of the traditional courtroom environment to engage young people with the themes of Justice, Citizenship, British Values and Civic Responsibility.’
Fixed Term: (2 days x 20 weeks) April-August 2017
Total Budget – £21,830 (Inclusive of Artist fee which will be paid at £200 per day for a maximum of 40 days)
