Head of Fundraising

The Head of Fundraising is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to drive and deliver income for the CCA to support its ongoing running costs as well as an ambitious exhibition and engagement programme. To do this, you will create and manage a portfolio that includes major donations from individuals, trusts and foundations; regular donations through growing a Patrons scheme; and income from corporate partnerships and public sector sources.

With at least five years’ successful fundraising experience in Arts or Education, you will demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach to fundraising; you can think and act strategically to generate significant income and meet targets, and you can manage stakeholders at all levels with tact and diplomacy.

The role sits within and is supported by Goldsmiths’ Development and Alumni team, but will work very closely with the CCA Director and gallery team. The CCA was launched in September 2018 after a successful £4m capital campaign. Its first year was a resounding success, with critically acclaimed exhibitions and audience numbers exceeding expectations.

Goldsmiths is a world-renowned university that has a reputation for rigorous and innovative academic work; creativity has long been our hallmark. Academic excellence and imaginative course content combine to make a place where creative minds can thrive.

Goldsmiths is passionate about advancing equality and celebrating diversity. We particularly welcome applications from Black and Asian minority ethnic (BAME) applicants as this group is currently under-represented in Arts fundraising.
