We’re seeking a Loans Coordinator to provide an outstanding art loan service in the North of England that promotes health, wellbeing and empowerment for all.

  • Employment type: Freelance contract (24 months+)
  • Salary: £400-475 pcm retainer, inclusive of travel expenses
  • Hours: 30 hours per month (estimate). This may include some evenings and weekends.

Do you believe art can have an impact on our wellbeing? Are you able to convince other people of the value of art? Would you like to see more art in health and social care spaces in the North of England? If so, then this challenging role is for you!

Paintings in Hospitals is seeking a Loans Coordinator to provide an outstanding loan service across the North of England that promotes health, wellbeing and empowerment for all.

Ideally based near Leeds, you will work from home and visit partner sites (from Hull to Liverpool to Newcastle). You will help us grow the number of new care partners using our loan services, whilst providing excellent guidance and assistance to our current partners. As part of this, you will develop and deliver innovative engagement activities with service-users, patients and staff from new and existing care partners, leading to sites borrowing more artworks from the collection. You will be responsible for renewing current loans and securing new ones, and will support the care and display of artworks in the region. You will have an understanding of the ways in which Paintings in Hospitals’ services can improve health and wellbeing.
