Marketing & communications Manager

This is an exciting role for a dynamic and creative arts marketing professional who is passionate about working with communities and thrives on a challenge.

You will be the marketing lead for BCA across all aspects of marketing and communications. That means that you will be the custodian for our company brand and audience development goals, both developing and driving the strategy for raising the profile and reach of our organisation in line with our business plan. You will work collaboratively with the Director and team to create marketing and audience development objectives and then take responsibility for their timely delivery

We’re looking for someone with experience of marketing in the arts sector in any relevant artform, confident in a leadership role but not afraid to get their hands dirty. In an increasingly “digital first” organisation you will be very confident developing and executing integrated campaigns across digital channels, including paid media, social, and email marketing. You will be confident in updating website CMS (WordPress), CRM systems, Mailchimp, a full range of social media platforms and tools for producing digital content. You’ll be excited and interested in the prospect of increasing your knowledge of digital and finding new ways to be creative and pioneering with digital marketing.

As the only marketing professional in a small organisation you’ll be responsible for the execution of day to day marketing activity – keeping our communication channels up to date across website, social media and e-news as well as arranging print and publicity as required, consistently monitoring and reporting on progress, and evaluating success.
