Marketing & Communications Officer

New Art Exchange (NAE) is a ground breaking, award winning and internationally recognised creative space in the heart of inner city Nottingham. The venue is dedicated to promoting excellence in contemporary culturally diverse visual arts. With an agenda rooted firmly in our local communities, NAE creates accessible programmes through the work of world renowned British and international artists.

We are seeking an energetic Marketing & Communications Officer with solid experience and a strong understanding of marketing and communications processes. The post holder will support NAE’s marketing plan to ensure we grow audiences and maximise the potential of our income generation activities. The postholder will be knowledgeable of audience research/profiling, inspired to create engaging and original digital content, and passionate about equality and building new audiences for the arts.

The Marketing & Communications Officer will work across both the creative programme (exhibitions, events, festivals, touring and international projects), and the income generation programme (private giving, café trade and facilities hire).

NAE announced a significant uplift to our core Arts Council funding earlier this year, helping to establish the organisation as the leading venue in the UK for culturally diverse arts. The new Marketing & Communications Officer will therefore join the organisation at an exciting time as we enhance our marketing activities and grow new digital resources.
