Museums Development Manager

Culture and heritage are at the very heart of what Lancaster has to offer, and our museums are part of this. Lancaster City Council is about to take back its museums after 15 years and is looking for a Museums Manager to take a central role in managing the transfer and developing an exceptional service for the future.

You will be an inspirational leader with experience of managing and successfully delivering positive change in a cultural environment, delivery of high impact events and exhibitions, developing new audiences and income opportunities. You will also have a strong understanding of the day to day requirements of working in a cultural environment.

The hours of work are 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, and you role will be based at Palatine Hall, Lancaster.
