We are looking for a Site and Technical Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operational and site management of the Arts Council Collection Centre for Sculpture based at Longside, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and to manage the safe and efficient storage of sculpture following accreditation standards and best practice guidance. We are looking for someone to develop and implement plans and targets for storage improvements, casemaking and housekeeping, working within given resources and managing the technical operation.
You will have experience in gallery management, storekeeping, registrar, technical or buildings manager role and knowledge of and interest in modern and contemporary art and sculpture. Excellent administrative and multitasking skills in a gallery or similar environment are essential. You will be a strong communicator and an excellent team player. Longside site is not served by public transport therefore the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they are able to get to work each day.
