The National Gallery’s Education Department is looking for casual Gallery Artists to join the team and contribute to the delivery of the onsite public programme of practical art-based sessions and to outreach workshops.
The Gallery Artists are an integral role within the department working closely with the Creative Programming team to ensure that the Education Strategy is delivered in line with the National Gallery’s newly defined digital and strategic ambitions.
This is an active teaching post that requires practitioners putting the needs of participants first. The Gallery Artist is a role that should support participants with different levels of experience in art making, in order for them to develop their own understanding and practice.
This is an exciting time for the department as it continues to strive to produce high quality life-long and life-wide learning experiences inspired by The National Gallery collection onsite, offsite and digitally.
Please note we require applicants who are available for regular weekend work.
