Creative technologists; Ludic Rooms, are inviting artists from across disciplines to apply for the Random String Fellowship. It’s a comprehensive development programme based in the West Midlands to explore interactive technology, involving mentoring, group development sessions and access to technology.
There is no expectation that the Fellowship will result in a new body of work; this is an opportunity to experiment and play. The 6 Fellows will just be required to contribute to a blog and present their work in progress at the Random String Symposium at Warwick Arts Centre on 10 June and talk about their findings at the end of the programme at a Coventry Pecha Kucha event in October.
To apply artists should visit http://randomstring.co/fellowships ,complete the online application form and upload a CV, images and weblinks.
Please note: The Fellowship is only open to artists who currently do not use routinely use interactive technology in their creative practice.
