Freelance Festival Producer

First Art is developing a new ‘See Off the Summer’ Festival in September 2016, and we are looking for a Freelance Festival Producer to curate and co-ordinate its programme and delivery.

The Festival is due to take place between the 3rd and 10th of September 2016, and will include two showcase events – one in Bolsover, Derbyshire and one in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

The Festival Producer will work with the First Art team for a fixed period to bring together an inspiring programme of outdoor performances, artists’ commissions and high quality work produced in the First Art area.

The freelance fee for this work is £7,000 (inclusive of VAT if applicable), to deliver the work outlined in the contract brief during the period June to October 2016. We anticipate this will involve a minimum of 60 days with intensive input leading up to and during the festival and less input at other times.
