About

Join multidisciplinary artist Sayed Sattar Hasan for a day exploring and twisting notions of tradition and interculturalism, using contemporary art as a means of re-configuring our world. As an artist who draws inspiration from his culturally diverse background, Hasan will host a playful yet critical set of activities, encouraging participants to question existing traditions and develop unorthodox new ones.

The day will be an open, understanding environment where individuals can discuss their own relationships with heritage, culture and nationality, while joining the artist in practical and performative activities. Explorations will include fabricating ritualistic objects, outdoor exercise and the collective preparation of an afternoon meal.
