About

Pop along to meet textile artist Jo Beattie as she tells you about her current exhibition – Precious Memories 2

“Memories are those precious moments that tell our story”

This solo exhibition by textile artist Jo Beattie is a reflection on memories and is created by machine stitching on see through fabrics. By raising the artwork from its background light and reflection enable its shadow to be the prominent picture and to tell a story.

To celebrate the opening of Jo’s exhibition she will be holding a launch evening on Friday, 3 June from 5pm – all welcome.

You can also meet Jo at her Meet the Artist event on Monday, 20 June from 3-7pm where she will be on hand to talk about her work and current exhibition.

The exhibition runs from 1 -29 May and is open to the public weekdays 10am-3pm – please ring 01332 594170 to book a viewing time.
