In October 2019, DCMS announced a £250 million Cultural Investment Fund (CIF) with aims for investment to drive local growth, refurbish libraries and repair museums.
CIF is a five-year programme with three strands that the Arts Council will deliver: Museum Estate and Development fund (MEND), Libraries Transformation Fund (LiT) and a continuation of the Cultural Development Fund (CDF).
The five new posts for Relationship Manager, Museums will primarily work on the Museum Estate and Development fund (MEND), which focuses on the strategic maintenance of museums across the country. One post will be based in each of the Arts Council’s areas across England.

The post holder will also support work on the Libraries Transformation fund (LiT), which will enable libraries to undergo refurbishment to transform the service they are able to offer the public.
The post holder will be expected to support delivery of other Arts Council business as part of this role and support new external partnerships and ensuring coordination between CIF and other programmes.
First stage interviews will be held in the week commencing 23 March and second stage interviews will be held week commencing 30 March.
