Nottingham Contemporary is a leading international art gallery with a strong local sense of purpose. Our exhibitions have been described as “constantly inventive” and we are passionate about connecting people to our exhibitions and our programmes for learning. Our remit is international art for everyone for free.
For the past three years, our Youth Programme has been part of a national programme called Circuit. Circuit aims to connect 15 – 25 year olds to the arts in galleries and museums. It is led by Tate and funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. Our programme provides young people with skill building opportunities as well as regular creative activity and accessible social events. The programme is developed and hosted by Nottingham Contemporary’s peer group of young people called Collabor-8 Collective, who meet regularly at the gallery.
We are recruiting for a Circuit Assistant to support the Youth Programmer to administer the Circuit programme until April 2017. We are looking for someone who enjoys supporting young people and helping them achieve their aspirations with us. The successful candidate must have great organisational skills as well as being creative, adaptable and enthusiastic.
