Would you like to talk to other people about making things happen in the visual arts in the East Midlands? Do you have a topic that you would like to discuss with people who are interested in developing the visual arts ecology in the East Midlands? Do you want to make connections with people working in the visual arts and find out about what projects they’re working on?

CVAN EM, the contemporary visual arts network for the East Midlands, will host a networking and conversation-based event as part of its project The Start of Something, which seeks to spark new relationships, collaborations and networks, to make things happen.

The event will present a platform for attendees to propose topics and themes for discussion by those present. It is open to anyone working within or interested in working with the visual arts community, individuals and organisations alike.

After this event, there will be an opportunity for those who wish to take conversations started here to a further stage, to apply to CVAN EM for support towards holding a follow up event/activity.
