About

Join us for Feng-Ru Lee’s Secret Recipe dumpling party, an event where participants are invited to write a secret onto edible rice paper that will then be formed into dumplings and cooked. This will be a social gathering occasion where participants are welcome to drop in while exploring our current exhibitions.

Expanding on our current exhibition Holding a Heart in Artifice by Abbas Zahedi, A Space for How to activates Zahedi’s exhibition space through events that focus on the gallery as a point of gathering and intimate exchange. Secret Recipe is an adaptation of the original Fluxus dumpling parties held by George Maciunas in the 1960’s and offers the opportunity to share in an experience of culinary experimentation and confession where secrets will remain untold but shared through consumption and digestion.
