Little City Studio is a day-long festival of films, discussions and performances exploring process, production and performance in artist’s moving image from the perspective of provincial urban centres like Leicester.

The ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts, London) will lead a seminar with Will Rose, Producer of Pavilion (Leeds), providing a platform to explore and establish themes for the rest of the day’s discussion.

Alongside screenings from the ICA’s Art and Screen Network Programme, Beth Kettel has been invited to give a performance lecture relating to a new video work she has been commissioned to make by Phoenix.

The event has been programmed and developed in Partnership with Anna Lucas who will lead a panel discussion with a number of invited and participating artists.

This event is part of Leicester Art Week, a programme of exhibitions and events co-ordinated by Leicester Visual Arts – a collaboration between contemporary visual arts venues in Leicester.
