We are recruiting a part-time Advertising Coordinator to work in our York city-centre office. We are looking for someone with resilience, positivity, drive, charisma and a strong understanding of the art and cultural sector.
You will be working across print and digital for the art and culture magazine, Aesthetica. The publication is one of the UK’s leading magazines in the sector. You will be responsible for acquiring and coordinating display advertising bookings from national and international clients.
The post will include:
- Generating print and digital adverting bookings.
- Writing sales emails and proposals.
- Be the main point of contact for enquires.
- Researching, identifying and contacting potential clients.
- Creating and preparing promotional plans, media kits and sales contracts.
- Coordinating bookings and acquiring artwork.
- Refreshing client contacts in databases.
- Coordinating and delivering advertising agreements.
- Following up leads and turning them into bookings.
Essential Skills:
- Excellent organisational skills, pro-active with a positive can-do attitude.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Administration and Excel spread sheet experience.
- Working to tight deadlines and quick response rates.
- Be approachable and able to forge strong working relationships.
- Be able to work accurately and calmly under pressure.
- Be able to work to financial targets.
- Be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the art and cultural sector.
Part-time working hours will be around 21 hours per week Monday to Friday, however you must be flexible and work longer hours to meet publication deadlines when required. Working days and times to be arranged. Bonus upon meeting the financial target.
