NPO 2028–33: What We Know and What Next
Join arts fundraising consultant Hannah Keville for a practical session exploring what we know so far about Arts Council England's National Portfolio Investment (NPO) 2028–33 programme, what is likely to come next, and what you can do now to prepare the strongest possible application.
Drawing on 13 years' experience in arts fundraising and two previous NPO application rounds, Hannah will interpret the information Arts Council England has published to date, alongside the emerging timeline and application process, to help organisations understand what is likely to be expected. The session will explore how to prepare your organisation ahead of writing your application, what makes a strong NPO application, common pitfalls to avoid, and how to assess whether applying for National Portfolio Investment is the right decision for your organisation.
The session is aimed at directors, trustees, freelancers and anyone considering applying for NPO funding in the East and West Midlands regions.
Hosted by CVAN EM & CVAN WM. Bi-monthly Better Together sessions are framed by a different urgent topic that is relevant to the East and West Midlands and wider arts and culture sector.

About Hannah
Hannah Keville is an arts fundraising specialist and freelance consultant. She first turned to fundraising to support her own artistic practice and participatory arts projects before specialising in arts fundraising through the Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy Fellowship in 2014. She went freelance in 2021 after seven years fundraising for organisations including the National Centre for Circus Arts, Create Gloucestershire and Ministry of Stories.
Since then, Hannah has supported more than 40 artists and arts organisations across every artform to secure funding from Arts Council England, the National Lottery, trusts and foundations, companies and individual donors. She is passionate about helping organisations secure National Portfolio Investment without compromising what they do, where they work or who they support. She wants to make the NPO process clearer, more accessible and much less stressful.
