CVAN EM Bursaries Round 4: Northamptonshire
Contemporary Visual Arts Network East Midlands (CVAN EM) is pleased to announce Round 4 of the CVAN EM Bursaries, targeting visual artists living and/or working in Northamptonshire.
About the Bursaries
CVAN EM Bursaries are £1,000 awards to support visual artists with their professional development. The bursaries can be used flexibly to support activities such as:
- Research and development for new work
- Professional development opportunities
- Equipment or materials
- Studio costs
- Training or mentoring
- Travel to exhibitions or events
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a visual artist living and/or working in Northamptonshire
- Be able to demonstrate a committed visual arts practice
- Not be in full-time education
How to Apply
Applications should be submitted via the online form. You will need to provide:
- Information about your practice
- How you would use the bursary
- Up to 5 images of recent work
- A CV
Key Dates
Deadline: Wednesday 4 December 2024, 11pm
Decisions: Applicants will be notified in January 2025
Selection
Applications will be assessed by a panel including CVAN EM representatives and arts professionals from the region. We are looking for artists who can demonstrate:
- A committed visual arts practice
- Clear ideas for how the bursary would support their development
- The potential impact of the award
