About

Join us for teatime talks with LPW artists, as they discuss their ideas, inspirations and challenges as a practicing artist.

Yasmin Canvin joined Leicester Print Workshop in October 2017. Formerly the Director of Fermynwoods Contemporary Art in Northamptonshire for eight years, Yasmin was instrumental in developing the organisation; curating and commissioning new work in public spaces and creating an annual county wide programme that has brought arts and non-arts audiences together. Prior to that she curated exhibitions for the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery and Angel Row Gallery, as well as touring exhibitions to venues across the country. She has worked with many artists with national and international profiles, including Roddy Buchanan, Shelly Goldsmith, Sophie Herxheimer, Kenny Hunter, Jitish Kallat, Amar Kanwar, William Kentridge and Caroline Wright.

This FREE event will take place in the LPW Project Space. Booking is not required.
