A remarkable and inspiring show featuring 165 works by 97 LSA members. The Society was formed by imaginative, forward thinking artists 140 years ago. Today LSA values that heritage and draws from its history and legacy, while proudly looking to the future, with an innovative outlook.

This is demonstrated by the powerful impact shown in the exhibition of diverse and dynamic artwork from highly acclaimed Leicestershire and Rutland artists. Our members are well known for their professional values and high standards of creative work. Their ideas, skills and sheer variety of approaches is intriguing and stimulating.

LSA is delighted to take this important exhibition to The Sock Gallery which has, arts and culture at its core and is highly valued by visual artists.  For the first time in our history, we go out of the City of Leicester into the County, to the market town of Loughborough reaching new audiences.
