Cosmopolitan Arts presents Made in China, a large-scale multi-media art installation fusing modern interpretations of traditional Chinese craft and architecture with a specially-commissioned film documenting the lives and experiences of Leicester’s Chinese communities.
Despite a long history of immigration and successful assimilation, the Chinese community is often under-represented in the UK. ‘Made in China’ hopes to redress the balance by introducing you to stories you haven’t heard and the friends you haven’t met yet.
Made in China is part of Cosmopolitan Arts’ celebration of The Year of The Dog in Leicester in February 2018.
