About
LEVEL Centre Visit Free, Book Essential – rebecca.beinart@weareprimary.org
A monthly forum for artists, programmers, community organisers, activists and others working with participation, collaboration, public space or social change. This is an opportunity to present projects-in-progress, receive feedback, and reflect together.
The next Social Practice Social will be a day trip to visit the LEVEL Centre in Derbyshire. For over 25 years, LEVEL has pioneered the transformative power of the arts to enrich the creative lives of people with learning disabilities. Today, the LEVEL Centre brings to rural Derbyshire the kind of contemporary arts space, facilities and technical resources normally only found in cities.
The visit will include an introduction to LEVEL by Sam Metz (Programme Manager), an Insight training session, lunch and a discussion. We will organise lift shares from Nottingham, leaving at 11am and back by 4pm. You’re also welcome to meet us there if that’s easier, but please email to confirm your place.
