Learn the basics to tapestry weaving with master weaver Caron Penney exhibiting in Here and Now. This one day workshop is open to complete beginners and those with limited experience of tapestry weaving. You will be able to weave on a pre-warped frame. A combination of plain weave, shape building, blending and hatching will be used during the workshop. Caron will demonstrate techniques and you will learn some new skills. By the end of the workshop students will take home a completed tapestry sample.
