Join UK New Artists (UKNA) and Celebrate Creativity in Lincoln on 19 – 21 October 2023 and experience these remarkable creations presented across the city.

The Weekend Celebration of Creativity, Organised by UK New Artists (UKNA) brings together 38 local and national artists to Lincoln City. 

Expect to be immersed in a world of new, extraordinary, and innovative contemporary artworks, with a dynamic blend of visual arts, installations. theatre, live performances, music, and spoken word.

Alongside workshops and film, experience twelve captivating, never-before-seen commissions, born from the heart of Lincoln and created in collaboration with local people, arts organisations and charities, transforming both cultural spaces and unconventional venues across the city.

Highlights include ‘In My Perfect State’, an audio-visual live performance that reimagines Lincoln’s Imp through a contemporary lens and ‘Soft Egg, Don’t Wear It,’  a multi-dimensional exhibition encompassing visual art, sound installations, film, and live performances, born from the artists’ collaboration in Mablethorpe in June 2023 which premiered at SO Festival 2023. 

There will also be the unveiling of a brand-new, inspiring and vibrant wall mural designed by abstract painter Ellen Ranson. The mural is a collaborative effort featuring the work of over 100 residents and school children, celebrating the spirit of Sincil Bank, its people, places, and memories.
