AA2A artists placements at Loughborough University

Visual artists and designer-makers are invited to apply to the Artists Access to Art Colleges (AA2A) project at Loughborough for the opportunity to use its facilities.

Successful applicants will be given the chance to carry out research or work on a project using workshops and facilities that they might not otherwise have access to. These include the University’s printmaking, wood, metal, ceramics, digital media, performance, photography and painting workshops, as well as IT and library resources and a lecture programme.

As part of their placement, artists will work and interact with students on the University’s Fine Art course.

The deadline for applications is 8 September 2019 and the placement will run from October 2019 until April 2020 – extensions may be available.
