Northampton Museums & Art Gallery are embarking on an exciting period of change.

Our main museum is undergoing a major £6.8 million expansion and renovation project, doubling in size and creating new exhibition galleries, collections facilities and visitor amenities. Abington Park Museum, set in Northampton’s premier park, is undergoing redisplay and expanding its visitor facilities. The museum service is also investigating moving to Trust status with a view to increased flexibility and opportunities ready for the opening of the new museum in late 2018.

We are recruiting to a number of key posts to help shape our future and create a vibrant, engaging and sustainable museums service.

You will manage the Activity Plan for the new museum project in line with the Audience Development Strategy. You will build relationships with key partners and stakeholders to develop, co-ordinate and deliver a range of on site and outreach resources and activities including workshops, events and pop-up exhibitions.
