Art Tutor, ArtSpeak

ArtSpeak are looking for an Art Tutor to deliver participatory arts workshops for people aged 60 and above as part of a regular Art Group at 25 Prospect Street, Radford.

About ArtSpeak:

ArtSpeak is an outreach programme and arts strand of Radford Care Group made possible by Big Lottery Funding. Our aim is to reduce social isolation and loneliness by providing opportunities for people to engage in a varied arts programme.

Radford Care Group has recently under gone redevelopment with a new building and rebrand; now called 25 Prospect Street. This new Centre will be open to a broader range of uses and offer different services to all members of the community, outside of the Radford Care Group opening hours.

The role:

We are looking for a personable, passionate, and encouraging Artist skilled in various art mediums to deliver workshops that are fun, stimulating, and accessible to all levels of ability and experience.

This new Art Group is an opportunity for participants to learn new skills, try out new techniques and develop existing skills and interests in various art mediums whilst working in a sociable, relaxed, supportive and friendly environment. The Art Group will initially run twice a month.

There is also the opportunity to work as a resident Artist with Radford Care Group members.
