Artist Commission

Next February, Nottingham Light Night will mark its Tenth Anniversary and we are inviting artists to curate work for the outdoor environment that will contribute by creating an artistic element to the event. We want to commission work that is beautiful, engaging, thought provoking, and maybe interactive generating a buzz for art on the street where it will delight people and make the evening memorable.

Commissioned artists work will be seen by thousands of people, as the event guarantees good audiences. Last years event reached record audience numbers of 50,000.

Details of commission –

•All art forms will be considered as long as they can be exhibited on the street/outdoors

•Event date: Friday 10th February 2017

•Artwork will be featured in event publicity (website, social media and brochure)

• We are looking to commission work costing £250 – £750. Please be realistic with your costings as we want to commission as many art works as possible.
