Artist in Residence [Early Years]

The Spark Arts for Children is looking for an Artist in Residence for our early years residency in a Leicester City library.

The artist will explore how consistent long term artistic engagement can impact on children aged 0-7, with the aim to improve the lives of children and families we meet through creative encounters.  Supporting language development through words, music, rhythm and play, a love of stories, early child development, health and wellbeing.

The artist will also work with early years practitioners to place art – music, drama, dance, digital and creativity-  at the heart of the Library Service’s Early Years provision.
