Artistic Director & Chief Executive

The Board of NAE are now looking to hire an exceptional individual as Artistic Director & Chief Executive who can shape and lead the next chapter of the organisation. The postholder will build on the achievements of the organisations so far, oversee its artistic vision and day-to-day operations and work with key stakeholders to develop its future strategy and success. Candidates will bring senior leadership experience and excellent strategic qualities in an arts and cultural context. They will also have credible experience within contemporary culture in its broadest form.

The post-holder will be a key ambassador for NAE, both locally, nationally and internationally, and must be an excellent communicator fluent on a range of diverse social issues. The candidate should look forward to becoming an integral part of Nottingham’s culture scene and will be expected to live in the area. This is a highly unique opportunity to join an organisation at the forefront of ACE’s Creative Case for Diversity and the Artistic Director & Chief Executive will be able to make a very real impact not only within local communities but across the UK and further afield.
