Board Trustee, UK Young Artists

UK Young Artists is a registered charity funded and supported by Arts Council England. De Montfort University, Loughborough University, Nottingham Trent University and University of Derby. We are seeking new voices to join our board at this exciting and developmental time. Founded in 2008 UK Young Artists champions the next generation of creativity, supporting collaboration and intercultural dialogue, ensuring a vibrant and diverse creative future for the UK. We develop artists’ practice through cross art form opportunities and celebrate creativity at national & international festivals. We are interested in applicants who show a strong interest in the arts and see the importance of supporting emerging creative talent for the UKs economic and cultural health.

Our ideal candidate will be able to provide direction to the Board and our management team on his/her specific area of experience. We are seeking new members whose experience (but not exclusively) is in the following area’s and preferably will have proven experience of working with a Board as a Non-Executive Director or Trustee. Fundraising, Finance, Young Artists, Economic Development and regeneration Artistic Programming Specialism of working within the following: writing & spoken word, music and diversity International Arts & HR
